Town and Country Photographic was founded in 1995 by Ivan Finch. We are a business which is small enough to offer a personal service, especially important for couples getting married, and yet big enough to offer support and after sales services normally expected from much larger companies. Further more all our photography is printed and finished in house, which ensures the highest possible standards and allows us to follow your briefs more closely.

Ivan's experience in photography started at an early age, being part of a photographic family. After leaving school he studied photography at The Kingsway Princeton College in Central London. Ivan worked in several laboratories and studios in the London area gaining experience in many different fields of photography.

In 1990 he secured a position as a cruise ship photographer which allowed him to travel on some of the worlds most prestigious cruise liners in some of the worlds most exotic locations. He left this enviable position in 1995 to found his own business.

Ivan is a member of both The Royal Photographic Society and The British Institute of Professional Photographers, he also has three City and Guilds distinctions in various disciplines of photography.

Ivan's partner Lorraine joined the business in 2005. She has prevoiusly studied fine art and has a background in business management. Lorraine looks after all the post production and day to day running of the office.
