Here are a few of the photographs I took on Saturday at Ashridge’s Wedding open day. It is always a pleasure to just wander around the estate and to savour the special ambience Ashridge exudes. It was indeed a greater pleasure to photograph such a fabulous building. I must thank the staff at Ashridge for their help in taking the photographs and to the couples who I spoke to who are planning their wedding day at Ashridge, if you would like any further information on my photography services for your wedding day please contact me or go to the wedding section of my web site. For those who like to know, all the images where lit with a pair of, or single Elinchrom Ranger Quardra RX battery operated lighting units with a sky port to trigger the heads.

Yesterday was one of the highlights of my year. I was asked by Essex County Council to photograph HRH The Countess of Wessex visit to Braintree Council Chamber where she presented Essex’s 10, 000th Citizen at a British Citizenship Ceremony. After the Ceremony The Princess chatted to the New Citizens and staff from Braintree Council and the staff from Essex County Council’s Registration Services, all where thrilled to speak to her.

I was recently commissioned by Volvo Cars East London, a new Volvo dealership in Chigwell to photograph the members of staff throughout the dealership for their new website which is soon to be launched. Karen Smith, the groups MD asked me to incorporate the staff’s working environment within the images. This is what I came up with….

Ivan was delighted to come away from Wednesday’s meeting of the London & Home Counties Region of the Master Photographers Association with three Awards for Excellence, two in the Commercial and Industrial section, which were taken for our regular client, North City Triumph and one in the Classical Wedding section which was taken at Alison and Nick’s recent wedding at Ashridge.

I had a wonderful time yesterday photographing North City Triumph’s new dealership in Romford. Here are is a selection of the images I took. North City is now one of the biggest Triumph Motorcycle shops in Europe. I was commissioned by Peter, the owner, to photograph all the staff, eleven in total, plus the new show room and work shop. This was a privilege for me as I was one of their first customers to buy a motorcycle from them at their original shop in Chigwell back in 2005.
